That is just way over my head. 😆

I had my brother's college professor check it and he said it was all in order, but that ...-_-...could also be written ...--_...

So after you have amassed riches, fame, college degrees, good-paying jobs, material possessions (i.e., wealth), lived a long adventuresome, fun, fulfilling life, had children, made it into all of the popular clubs and social circles, had your mansion built on a hill with a breathtaking, panoramic view overlooking a major city, or built your home out in the country, or on the beach (a beachfront home), traveled the world and visited every country that your heart desired to, won your Oscars, Pulitzers, Nobels, Grammies, made many friends, wrote a number one best-seller or hit song, invented something that changed the course of history, dated the men or women of your dreams, got your name in Guinness Book of World Records, done something that no one else has done, got your name down in the history books—in short, you have accomplished all of your dreams…then what? You cannot take any of that with you into the next world. The Egyptians would bury the personal trappings and other belongings (most of it valuable) with their deceased Pharaohs because they believed that he or she would need them in the next world. They actually believed that their Pharaoh’s could take those things with them. But those coffins (or sarcophaguses) were raided, just a testament to the fact that you cannot take anything from this life into the next (except things that you do for Jesus). So after all of these things are said and done then what?

[B]Matthew 6:19-21
19 “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; 20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

Let me just say that God is not opposed to us having things, He is opposed to things having us. At least when you get saved you can start laying up for yourselves treasures in Heaven where thieves don't break in and still and where neither moths nor rust destroy. Those things will last forever. What things you ask? Everything that you do for God will be tested with fire. If the motive behind what you do survives the test then your reward will remain for eternity. Some of us will have crowns (glorious headware), and robes of righteousness (glorious apparel). Some of us will have more responsibility and glory than others. But yet there is no jealousy or envy.

Matthew 16:25-27
25 For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. 26 For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul? 27 For the Son of Man will come in the glory of His Father with His angels, and then He will reward each according to his works.

What profit is it? You have gained nothing in the final analysis. Isn't your soul (along with the spirit) more valuable than material things? Glad you asked. The soul/spirit is eternal, it will exist forever somewhere. Why spend all your life and time pursuing something that you cannot take with you when you die?

quoting J.K. ROWLING'S WORDS. who i give infinitely more respect{and she definately earns it unlike your GOD's words}. i wudnt take anything material with me. only the fealings, emotions, experiences amd memories if there is sumthing after this life. in other words. the things most precious and true to us. jesus never had nor will ever have any significance or part to to play, in worthy actions of this world or the possibly next one. he does not matter in the least and doing materialistic or spiritual things for him is the height of stupidity as he was just an average man who died. it is those fealing/acts/emotions/expiriences which make you most human and yet. at the same time most beatiful that wud have any value to a soul that has passed one.

or rather SHOULD be of any real value for a soul in the after life. love is one of them, joy might be another, sadness/compassion/attachement/selflessness/reaching beyond your selfish human constraints and doing things or discovering things. these are the kind of things that truly matter my friend.

your faith in a misguided ignorant man{who id maintain was yet, a better human being then, then you are now} who passed away millinea ago is misguided to say the least. continue on this path and i assure you. you will never gain nor feal or understand, anything of real value in this life. even if you force yourself to believe you have.

Astonishing hypocrisy isn't it? What with the Catholic Church being the single richest organisation in all of existence.

You missed the point. To have all of these things without having Jesus Christ in your heart and life is the foolish part.

Why do we have to give money to jesus? What is he doing with all that cash?

Exactly. Why does no one else seem to understand this?

Jesusisalive, have you ever donated money to prayerhour? Ever since I started, I've felt a closer connection with God.

The money does not go directly to the Lord Jesus. It goes to support His work in the earth.

I've never heard of prayer hour but I do pay tithes to my local church.

The vatican barely uses a fraction of the dividends on doing "Jesus's work". Never mind the $20,000,000,000 it has in shares alone. Not including it's property and it ridiculously huge amounts of gold. (how does hoarding gold equate to doing God's work?)

They're not known as the biggest tax evaders in Italy for nothing either.

Greedy, corrupt pigs. The lot of them.

JIA, are you a paedophile?

Well, first of all I was not referring to the Vatican.

I am talking about Christian not Catholic ministries doing the work of God (e.g. Ever Increasing Faith Ministries, Kenneth Copeland Ministries, Creflo Dollar Ministries, Light Ministries in Houston Texas, Bill Winston Ministries, Kenneth Hagin Ministries, Joyce Meyer Ministries etc.)

The work of God is preaching the gospel of the Kingdom, the existence and maintenance of the local church, helping the poor, supporting missionaries, etc. The above Christian ministries do a great job of doing the work of God.
