Folk Punk bands.

Can anyone list any that don't play celtic style? I'm thinking something along the lines of Arabian folk or Scandinavian or even Japanese. Any reccomendations?

i cant think of any off the top of my head. But they should have a go, Flogging Molly and the Kidney Theives have shown that its doable (taking folk music and punking it)

Flogging Molly's celtic folk, but I haven't heard of Kidney Thieves. I may look them up.

Kidney Thieves are really awesome. I bet Fash has heard of them too.

Even though he can't really play the drums that well, he has passion for music, at least. But if he wants to be a better drummer, he should find some members that what to play rock music with him. That way he'll be playing away from his garage, and more girls would scream for him and the band too.
