Ok, let me break it down for you.
Someone makes a comment that, although not exactly polite, can't really be considered nasty, and you report them. Why? Not only do you immediately cause more hostility than is necessary, you provoke a fight. Usually the reported person responds with a nastier comment and then you have the audacity to feel justified.
I seriously think the Report function privilege should be taken away from you.
