Jennifer Tapang would be perfect in the role of Shi

Shi: The Way of the Warrior is a comic book film based on William Tucci's creation.

Jennifer looks a lot like the character in the comic.

I have read that the creator of Shi, Billy Tucchi, thinks Jennifer looks like Shi.

She does have a perfect look! Maybe I can get in touch with her for posing!!

There was a poster released a while back that had tia carrere as shi on it... i dunno how authentic it is though...

a shi movie, if done well, would be sweet...

Tia Carrerre was set to star in Shi which was going to be financed and produced by her husband. They then got a divorce before the shoot began and the movie has bounced around to different production companies ever since, but has yet to be made.

You agree about Jennifer Tapang or agree about the reason why Tia Carrerra never got to do the Shi movie or both?

she's a half japanese, half american assassin, that looks so hot you wouldnt mind the fact that she's about to kill you in a particularly gruesome way...

and its pretty well written too... she's like a female batman, the whole 'you killed my family so im gonna get some revenge' kinda thing... she's hotter than batman too...

tapang looks ok, though i have no idea if she'd be able for it...

She certainly has the look for the part. I think this picture does a great job of showing that.

The acting skills would be the next crucial part.

the likeness (in her face on the left side of the pic) is uncannily similar to some of the shi art i've seen...

i wonder if they'd have st. germain and arashi, and maybe germain's fight with peter...

or the whole tomoe is or isnt shi, that'd be cool too...

I read if they do the movie they may depart some from the original story and delve into the supernatural. Not a good idea. They should just stick to the female batman idea.

After looking at this particular photo it kind of makes me think of Johnny Cash music, just raw with honesty and passion. There's heroes and villians, good and bad, and right and wrong. The protagonist strolls into the bar which he sees as a microcosm of the big picture. He contemplates the meaning of his existence and he asks himself as he stares at Jennifer:
"Who's the babe in the red sweater?"

If you don't like that kind of music, simply insert the kind you do like. It still works the same.............

On the Shi issue I agree with you. They can touch upon certain things, but they shouldn't just dwell on it.

That's okay. Looking through all of her pictures in that giant array of photographs I think that it really depends on what photographer she uses for best results. Although her photographic manager is a guy named Craig Huey, her best photos were actually taken by a photographer named Michael Kirk. But I do disagree with you on that photo of her in the red sweater top. I think she looks pretty good, especially if you are comic book artist. Her face fits the shape of how they draw comics. You can check that out at the bookstore. They have a book called drawing comics the Marvel Way and it is uncanny how much the initial shape of a womans face is just like Jennifers.
