I disagree. I don't think Jack Nicholson came close to capturing the joker, not to mention That piss weak laugh that he does.

If Bale keeps the role for a good few years, I'd love to see him as a grissled, brooding older Bruce Wayne. He's perfect the the young Bruce Wayne image at the moment, but I'll hope that Batman gets his sardonice, cynical middle-aged-man edge someday.

by far Christian Bale, he prepare himself for the role, he was very commited to the character and by far his performance was the most soulfull of all
