Cyan IS blue.
Not really, it is the "blue" in CYMK printing but doens't count as a true blue.

Is it bollocks, cyan is the complement of red, the colour between green and blue.

It is still a shade of blue, though, even when it's not CMYK.

Ever taken British science class when you're 13?

Besides, Spooony'll back me up on this, cyan is not blue. It's a mixture of blue and green.

well blue and green both rock....
so does that make cyan the best? 🤨

It IS a greenish-shade of blue, yes. But it is definitely far more blue than green, and thus I would call it a shade of blue.

Pink. Blue doesn't do anything for me. 😬

It's just as green as it is blue.

But still technically it’s not “blue”, if you went into a store and asked for some black paint and they gave you gray #5 then you would want you money back. 😛

In Greek, yes. And since Greek is what half the languages speaken in Europe is based off of, then it counts.

Saying Cyan is blue, is like saying yellow is green.

No.

I'm not talking spectral colors, I'm talking art here.

And to my eyes, cyan appears to be more blue than green.

😆 Well, my name is Andrew, which is Greek for "a strong man", so thank-you for your retarded logic. And I guess everyone called Anderson are my sons because Anderson is Greek for "Son of Andrew", and Peter in Greek is rock!

Well in most languages they don’t have separate words for blue and green as well.

In Russian, they have the same word for red and happy!
