The whole supporting a ship is fine and all, its a lot of fun. But i've acknowledged the fact that the movie might not end J/E. If it does, great. Awesome. But for real, whatever the pairing happens to be, its going to be A GREAT MOVIE. So cheer up everyone! Aren't you excited?

True, but I'm gonna feel a little cheated in the JE department then. What was the point of them in DMC then? If they are not together, the movie better have a damn good reason for it LOL. And I don't wanna hear "Jack was just a bump." He is nobody's bump. And what do they want us to say..."Oh that's okay, we're sorry W/E wasn't interesting enough own it's on to attract a fanbase, so we get that you had to use Jack." 😠
Yeah, but I'll be okay...I'll never be able to watch J/E the same way again...but yeah I'll be okay...
yeah. i'm actually not that confident, lol. i really want jack and liz to be together. we really don't know much about what will happen but i have faith in T+T. I believe that either way there will be a good reason. They wouldn't develop such a complex thing to make it a "bump". They know what they're doing. i'm sure they know that JE has so many fans, they wouldn't just build up our hopes for a "bump". They know better, Jack Sparrow is anything but a "bump".

But I'm sure, like Indiana Jones, they will make a fourth in the near future.
I know I won't be dissapointed by the movie, it's going to bring alot of clossure. It won't leave that empty feeling because we are all pirates by heart. And pirates has been and will always be in our history books--even in our blood.
arrgh! pirates is pissing me off, period. i'm so tired of worring about what will happen, what won't happen, who will be with who, blah blah blah. I almost forgot, in my JE daze, that i LOVE the actual movie. It's making me depressed.
Sorry for spreading my pessimistic thoughts everywhere. Its just this movie is killing me. I hope everyone else here is having a better time with it than me.

I feel the pain. It actually makes me mad that I decided to ship anything. I should have just waited until the third movie to decide whether I wanted to ship J/E or not. At least that way I would know for sure if I liked the way their story was going, and no stress or expectations.
yeah, you're right. i was actually really optimistic when i came here. this site just gets you so into the whole JE thing, and when i see a depressing post it makes me depressed as well. and the fact i'm working on a pile of math HW doesnt help either. i also kind of feel that our fountain of things to talk about is running a bit dry..but tis ok.
i am sure i will enjoy the movie no matter what. The characters are great and the story is great and its all just great.
lol. i watched DMC 5 times in a row when it came on DVD..but it did get a little tiring. i haven't watched either in a long time also..the last time was when my friend and i had a pirate party. we walked down to the drug store, bought pirate edition magazines, pirate peanut M&Ms and watched both pirate movies. I do also recall walking back from the drugstore acting like drunken pirates. wow we were wierdos. did you know that pirate m&ms taste better than the regular kind?

Yes I think DMC is a bad movie, especially when you compare it to CotBP. Something is off.
I haven't watched DMC since Dec. I watch CotBP when I have time. Even after 500 times I can still enjoy it.
Maybe I did get too caught up in the shipping wars, but it's hard to come back down now LOL
I just don't want to be cheated. Jack is my favorite character, and I think a lot of my being angry about a Will/Liz ending, is Jack getting brushed aside, especially since we know he has strong feelings for Liz, not just lust.
But that's just me, hey whatever.
Not complaining, just being honest.
Guys, I'm not dissing the franchise, that's just how I feel. I'm not the only Pirates fan that doesn't like DMC. I don't like Attack of the Clones either, but I love Star Wars as a whole. Does that make me a bad fan? No. It just is. I personally believe that the plot was a little sloppy. I'm not calling TnT bad writers, but I think things could have been done better, that's all. And of course they did give us JE tension, and I do love that. But it's really all I enjoy of the movie. *shrug*
EDIT: Sorry if I sound harsh, I'm just not in the best mood right now.
