Durability is ability to resist damage ( and not the ability to resist being knocked down).
Cap has knocked down countless class 75 and higher beings (including Hulk). So has Bats. That doesn't make them able to lift more than a ton over their heads now do it. Juggernaut is an exception (since that he is enchanted by magic).

Why did marvel writers write wolverine not being able to scratch colossus?

Answer: Because they wanted to show that wolverine didn't have the strength to cut him.

These writers are not scientists. A slash is the same as a stab to them. I am very sure that if you asked them "Can wolverine penetrate through colossus by stabbing?" then they will say; "Didn't we show that in an issue already?". Then we will say; "No, you only showed a slash not being able to cut colossus." Then they will say; "The point we were trying to make was that wolverine can't penetrate colossus in any way because he lacks the strength."

If the writers believed that wolverine could penetrate colossus in any way then they would have certainly not shown wolverine not able to put a scratch on him.

This is common sense.

Well, it's hard to say wether Wolverine would be able to damage Colossus, it has been a long time since Wolverine scratched him..

It could be possible as his claws were coated by Apocalypse, who has lot better tech at his disposal, making Wolverine's claws lot sharper..

Sabretooth might be able to damage Colossus as he's lot stronger than Wolverine.

On that same note, one must remember that Colossus has also become a lot stronger/more durable over the years as well.

According to wikipedia, Luke Cage has impenetrable skin. Does that make him able to take Wolverine's claws? Besides, Colossus' skin has been pierced before.. 😈

wolverine can cut colossus in many ways, his eyes doesnt have a thick metal like his chest, his ears wolverine can stab colossus thrue his ears and take him out, sabretooth can open colossus mouth and hold it remember sabretooth can press 15 tons not and wolverine puts his arm inside colossus mough and cuts him from his unside , wolverine can also cut colossus thrue his nose , colossus does have nose otherwise he wouldnt be albe to breath, wolverine can panetrate colossus brain right thrue his nose and kill him

I have ult. x-men vol.s 1-13 I only buy the graphic novels and unless something has happened between the end of vol. 13 to whatever the current issue is that shows evidence that Ult. Colossus can beat Wolverine....Wolverine wuld beat Colossus by himself.
