WRONG. Putting effort into folks not discriminating against him for it. That is reasonable and acceptable. They want to change his lifestyle or at least want to keep their superior rights. Well, good thing we humans understand that all men are created equal.

Cool keep your Liberal stance, it doesn't make it right it makes it open. Folks somehow feel that if they believe in "nothing" yet "everything" somehow their opinion or belief becomes more valid, wrong.

No, I believe that humans are free (they are) and that for something to be moral (since we don't really have any absolute ones) we should leave the people their freedom as far as possible. So we (as society) decided that we only take away freedoms where it harms other humans. This is the theory we go by, the theory your country was founded on. It's not absolute, because nothing is absolute, but it's the way it is. Chrisitians want to put their beliefs on others, that interferes strongly with the rights of those people, so that has to be pointed out.

me neither............how about this one

That is the reality of religion so the fact you are able to openly discuss this or put it off make their religion any less valid? Probably not, it just means your opinion is such that you won't be "burned" for having it.

Now I know some freeking religious right wing nut might step in and fvckin blow it with some nutswing stance but in the end its not death if you don't really take Christianity, its just chastising. That happens regardless of faith.

What the? No, their Religion might be Spot on. I don't care. In this world they have no right to force their beliefs on others. That's what we agreed to. If their God wants to **** everyone in the afterlife, good, so be it. Let them Homosexuals have a little bit of fun here at least. They are just humans like you. With beliefs just as likely as yours.

Uh no one wrote a book with the "rules" as it were so if a group ie like yours wishings to push their beliefs on others they can. You don't believe, great, super, fantastic but does that mean being critical of another group makes you more right? Probably not.

I know I'm not involved in this spat...but since when is free and equal human rights under the law considered "liberal?"

I am not saying I am more right. Can you not read?

I am saying that we (no one) knows what the truth is, so we should keep our beliefs to ourselves and let people life their lives as they fit as long as they don't harm another one. Since that is objectively, the fairest thing for every human that we can do.

Really Christians aren't converting by the sword last I checked so when does equal and free mean anything, does it have alot of value even where religion isn't concerned? Nope it just allows some "equality" in death as it were.

are you keeping your opinion to yourself anyway? I have read pages of this and I don't think so, your opinion is posted everwhere and you have tried to change opinions based on that how is that different then religion?

They do not permit homosexuals to marry other homosexuals, that is forcing their opinions on others.

Free and equal are concepts we humans decided to hold as important. And funnily enough most humans do, Christians as well, just that they want to take other peoples freedom away cause of theirs.

No one actually is not allowing them to marry they just don't make it easy, big difference.

Free and equal are concepts you are touting but believe me not everyone buys into that regardless of religion.

Let me clarify, everyone may voice their opinion. But they should not be able to force it on others. I think every Christian may belief what they want. But when they want to force their opinioon on others or pass laws according to their rules that cut away freedom needlessly they are doing wrong.

Also, why don't you start and come out of the closet with your views. Most people probably think you are very Christian, but I don't know. What is it? What do you believe?

Err, what?

What then? What are the concepts you buy into?

Free and equal does not mean under pain of death.

Unfortunately for you and your reactionary ideology, the higest law in my nation is the US constitution, not your "god's" "laws."
