Just like the TPM DVD was 'Special', eh? Pod Race yawn-a-rama... they should always include an exact theatrical release somewhere on the bloody thing.

Why is the Episode II DVD coming out so soon? I thought Lucas said it takes years to make the extra's for the DVD (remember episode I)?

well..back then they released the best dvd-extra ever, now almost all big films get loads, they're more experience; so they do it faster..maybe

Lucasgilm's position is still that the new films require relatively little work to put to DVD; doing the old ones to the extent that GL wants them done is, they say, a major project not practical while the films are being done.

But they certainly did change their mind, To, yeah, because they originally said the TPM DVD wouldn;t come out until after ep. iii either.
