Which one did you like more? I don't just mean the way that they were portrayed by Gene Hackman and Kevin Spacey, but also by what their characters did in each movie. Who was meaner? Who was more sadistic? Who was funnier? Who was cooler, and so on.

Me, as much as I like Kevin Spacey, I have to still go with Gene Hackman still. His Lex was just so much more...sadistic. The scene that still gets to me was when Miss Tessmacher mentions her mother lives in New Jersey, and Lex calmly looks at his watch and shakes his head no. Also I still find Lex's character in this movie to be much more hateful, as seen with the utter disgust that he had for those around him, meaning Otis and Tessmacher, and of course Superman. And there's just something about him still being ashamed of being bald and having to cover it with wigs that worked for me too.
