I don't know if you have enough time on computer, but you might want to have a look at the respect threads of some heroes/villains you like. Here is the address to the directory where you can find a link almost to every Marvel respect thread on this forum:

Just press that and have a glance. Hulk's respect thread is very good, I highly recommend that.

And if you don't know about the characters, you can always ask the people on the forum.
