Johnny is a good kisser, but in the movie the 9th gate, there are some sex scenes that are nasty with johnny-yuck. With ugly women ew.

Well, cuz at the beginning, he shows how he can get a woman off with just his hand.

It is difficult later on because it's very graphic with effects of syphilis on his character, but there's actually not that much sex and it also has Jack Davenport, Tom Hollander, Richard Coyle and Keira's boyfriend, Rupert Friend. I also loved the historical aspect especially the theatre in late 1700s Britain...and, hehe, Johnny has two Lizzies vying for his affections.

Well, yeah, but would u reccomend going out and buying it? cuz i saw it at the store the other day....

It depends how much it was and what you're looking for in a Johnny Depp movie because his performance is awesome as well as everyone else, but Johnny's character does suffer from syphilis and isn't "pretty" for the last hour or so.

Here's a taste to see whether you'll like the film.

Twenty's a pretty good price, FYE, Borders and Barnes & Noble are charging about 27 dollars...and both Rupert and Tom are also in the Keira Knightley version of Pride & Prejudice.

The Libertine is a must have for a true Johnny fan.
