Green Lantern #13.(Spoilers)

So what is the big secret the Guradians are keeping from everybody? And secondly I wonder why they want to interragate Cyborg and Superboy Prime. Maybe they think they saw something. This book is f*cking awesome right now.

so where are all the resurrected Lanterns going to go now? haven't all there empty slots been replaced?

There's 7200 sector assignments but I'm sure they always have room for trainers and such.

And yeah, this is one of DC's top books right now.

I'm really enjoying it. Always nice to see Guy interacting.

There was another thing in the issue I didn't understand. What was with all the Guardians saying All saying "52"? Didn't make any sense for me.

And I don't think all the positions are filled yet. Some of them have to stay and guard SBP.

Maybe them saying 52 has some relation to the series, 52?

I don't know.

But I did read the issue and wonder the same things. It's really become a great series though.

Should I be buying the GL series or GLC. I've been getting the Corps ones recently (I think I have the first 3 since the re-launch), but haven't been impressed.

The GL series have impressed me with both the art and the storyline lately. Sure, Borg fought like an idiot but otherwise it was a good book.

Yeah, the only good thing about Corps, IMO, has been the art. I'd recomend dropping it for Green Lantern, it's got great art and writing.

I wish they would add Kyle back into the Corps series. I like the current series but the Guy/Kyle banter was gold.

i like the corps series a lot better then then the other GL books.

but ion and Green lantern are all right.

This series is great. I like it just a little more than the ion series. I have a question though, the gls are sustaining a perpetual red sun, wouldn't it be easy on them to dump sbp in a system with a red sun? How long does it take for SBP to recharge under a yellow sun anyway?

I think his powers would probably start regaining like Clark's did in the Up, Up and Away arc, which is like a week or so from normal to godmode. But I can imagine for some dumb reason he'd go back to being super ridiculously powerful pretty quickly.

The flashes tried dumping the kid in the Speed Force. The Speed Force went boom. There was a red sun in there and in the end he still got out. I say they better keep things as tight and secured as they are. If anything they should add more stuff to try and keep him there.

How about killing the li'lk bugger and leaving it at that? Surely he's just been imprisoned to come backa nd be ultra powerful for yet another stupidly long arc where he'll be stupidly powwerful and kill a stupid amount of minor crappy heroes and a coupla decent ones...

Heh, loved the "Prime duty" part...must be one of the most boring jobs in the Universe.

You don't fight evil by doing the same evil acts, you know?

No you just lock them up and give them another chance for total genocide 🙄

😆 Precisely my point... keeping SBP alive was insane... all he'll do is become a jobbing Superman villain... and isnt superman Prime a good guy in DC One Million?

NRAMA: If we had to lay money on it, what’s the safer bet – that Superboy Prime could redeem himself, or he’s a member of Bad Guys 4-ever?

GJ: I think it’s a split. You saw his reaction when he did what he did in Infinite Crisis, but at that same time, he’s walked over that line. Does he think he can walk back? Should he? Does this universe even matter to him anymore? Is it the fact that, now that he’s got a big dent on his car, another one won’t matter? If he’s already on that path, is he going to continue on it, or is he going to really try and work and go back?

It’s a tough thing, but of course, the parallel is Hal Jordan, which is why he works so well in that book. It’s no mistake or coincidence why Superboy Prime is going to be dealt with in Green Lantern quite a bit.
