If you actually cared to read the scan, it stated that he was able to tap into it WITHOUT the machine. With it, he was able to become a living part of it.

Magneto is about to become a biotch to Cable in this form for this fight.

Once again lets review the Surfer fight, Cable was boosting immune system to everyone on Earth while holding up an Island and rebuilding everything Surfer and he were destroying and I forget he also was able to reach SS telepathically and destroyed Surfer's Board.

That was all at the same time, with his energies soley focused on Magento for this fight Magento dies or Cable just makes him normal lol and kicks him around🙂

Bigbran Cable does have a metal arm and other components.

However don't let that sway you here. Cable was such a threat they had to call in SS to stop him no one else could even tough him.

That's the way I'm leaning. And I doubt Magneto's shielding is going to be stronger than Cable's.
