The fight the changed Alpha Flight forever. This is the battle where Mac "dies", but really activates a blackhole and teleports himself into the past and eventually comes back as the badass cyborg that takes down Doom, Headlok and even Galactus. Anyways Jaxon assembles Beta Flight and makes them into Omega Flight to get revenge against Mac for deserting them when the government stoped funding Alpha Flight. He uses Delphine to persuade them to go to battle. He also captured Heather and that's why she pops in at the end, trying to escape.

They don't mention her other abilties such as flares and sonar attacks and she has been shown to go faster than the speed of sound. Her transport trick is nice 1000 miles per second. That's faster than escape velocity, mach 32.7 [7 miles per second]. I think they meant to say 1000 miles per hour [still escape velocity]. Dark Guardian is Delphine Courtney wearing Mac's (classic) electromagnetic suit. Basically he/she [robot] tricks Alpha Flight thinking it was the real Mac came back from the dead. Delphine's lie about coming back is actually the true way Mac comes back later in the series. Basically this is just showing how powerful the suit is, and eventually Heather takes Delphine's suit. Dark Guardian used an invisible wall that speedsters will collide into. It knocked out Northstar instantly.

Alpha Flight #12 (vol.3)
After Flashback approached Alpha Flight to help prevent his death, they needed to go back in time to prevent Flashback from joining Omega Flight as well as the "death" of Guardian. Most of the new members of Alpha Flight get sent back in time by Nemesis sword, but doing so kills you in the process. So most of the members who did adjust the timeline made it worse, from Canada being nuked, and the world destroyed by a army of Box robots. Well Nemesis goes back in time using her own sword and kills Heather to prevent Heather from disturbing Mac. Well since Heather was gone, Mac decided to take over the world. Eventually all the current members of Alpha Flight that were sent into the past finally catch up looking much older. The last panel is Sasquatch stabbing himself with Nemesis' sword in order to go to the past, and get Shaman to fix everything.

STAG BEETLE Obscure Charcter

Guardian is the Reed Richards of Canada.

From most of his scientific discoveries, to his guardian suit that could both be used for environmental research or defending one's country.

His helmut can telepathic communicate with his suit to fly and the power supply for it could supply power for all of Canada.

It amazes me that his discoveries could change the face of Canada, but much like Canada Parliament would end all advance by cutting funding to easy whatever problem is currently on the books.

Nice. It's good to have everything here in one place, rather than scattered around in the regular AF thread.

I'd recommend this, but most of it's probably in the regular AF thread...I'll make a note in the directory or something that mentions all these without naming them all.

Heather went missing so Guardian probed the entire E-M spectrum to see the cause of the anamolies as choas was happening such as massice floadings and sesimic activities
