It’s been awhile since my last cert but yes.

I got certified when I was a Scout Leader years ago. Just got it a recert a few months ago.

Your pretty much Facked up when you perform CPR without Certification on a DNR person or cracking the ribs. family can sue you and Samaritan act CANT PROTECT YOU from getting sued so YOU DO NEED TO GET CERTIFIED to perform CPR.

I know CPR, but I don't need shit to do it.

Yes Im certified in First-Aid and CPR.

careful, if you try to perform CPR on someone and they dont make it... the family can sue you if you are not certified.

Not exactly because one of the first reactions to seeing someone passed out or whatever is to call 911 so until they arrive you will be performing CPR until they get there and when they get there they take over. It's not your fault the person dies.

Just got certified to Do CPR. now I just added to My strong powers. I can revive people back to life...or fail in trying to do so.
there is a difference between knowing how to and being able to actually do it.

I'm a qualified first aider, due mainly to the college course I took and my previous job as a carer. So yeah, I also know how to do CPR.

I used to be a medic... I think it's a useful skill to attain (CPR.) Most people can't even do the heimlich correctly, much less, CPR.

It might be your first reaction, but you can get sued. If you accidentally hurt the person when saving their life, like for example crack a rib... they can sue you for that.

EIDT: I would rather someone try to save me... a cracked rib compared to death .... Id take the cracked rib. Im just saying... its possible.

Wow....I did NOT know that! 😬

I know howda treat a 'gushing' arterial wound...CPR is baby stuff in comparison 😛

I'm certified for another 60 days or so, then I have to re-certify. When I was in the Army we were trained in CPR every 90 days, and we were trained bi-annually when I was with the State Correctional Agency. I'm also trained in infant/child CPR which is very reassuring to know, since I'm a father.

Do you want to know?....hehehe..any one want me to give them cpr...j/p...😛 i know it...

my aunt is CPR certified and she saw a man Fainted. instead of doing something about it. She frozed and didnt move. my aunt and i became a spectator to a man's plight.

needless to say someone else performed CPR, and successfully revived him till AMR (american medical response) ambulance arrived
