The 12 Keys

I ran across a book, though didn't buy it.......got to watch my money ya know........toooooo many books...but anyway, at this fair/emporium ....Were these "12 Keys".......I picked up the free card cause I thought it was cool.......here they are:

1. You will Remember who you are, you are connected to the Source.
2. I am a teacher, you are a teacher. We are mirrors of each other.
3. There is no such thing as guilt, shame or blame, it is all a lack of love.
4. You are all special, unique in all the world.
5. Know yourself.
6. Your life path is not an accident.
7. You are a Divine Creator.
8. Heal your body and the rest will follow
9. Learn to be in Silent, quiet your mind.
10.Follow your own Truths
11.Nothing exists outside of yourself that doesn't not already exist within you.

You know which one I love in that list? Number 9. I love that. I know that I am in the minority on the board here being a Christian, but I love that one cause of the verse..Be Still and know that I am God. And I personally believe that one must shut the heck up everyonce in a while in order to "hear" the voice of God. Not audibly, rather threw mental pictures or words. I just thought I'd throw out my favorite one. I could chat about all of them. Great little list you found there. *smiles*

Nah, no real evidence for incarnation. There is no metaphysical source that we draw power from.

Yes, we are all teachers. And we do mirror eachother to some extent.

Not true...they are very real emotions, all fo which have thier role to play.

Probably bullshit, but you should realize that somethigns are beyond your control and accept the past for what it is, not what it could have been. Try to make the future better... not the past.

7. You are a Divine Creator..
I can create, but there is nothing about it. I have all the power I need and those powers are crosslisted under "human" not "divine."

8. Heal your body and the rest will follow..
On the contrary. Heal the mind and the rest (including the body) will follow.

9. Learn to be in Silent, quiet your mind..
Its good to listen, its also good to make noise. Don't silence your mind...thinking is a gift.

10.Follow your own Truths.
Good on the whole, but giving everyone mental independance is DANGEROUS.

Not likely. A better way of phrasing this is to remember that you always see things through the lens of yourself.

I chant to make myself quiet. That may sound like a contradiction, but it really isn’t. If you are a person like me, who can never shut my mind up, you can use it to get all the voices in the mind to be like a choir. I them search my mind for that small quiet voice. That is wear I am connected with everything else.

Shaky. That is much like me. I tell you, prayer for me is a consant struggle. My mind is just buzzing. I am learning to quiet myself though. I am learning. I amy just try your chanting technique. That may even work. I do yearn for connection though. It is my mission as of late to learn to "hear" my God speak to me. This chanting thing may be a useful tool Shaky *smiles*. Love your post. 🙂
