The Arena <[Story Thread]>

"Yes I'm the first Gou'ald, but not the last." Hades spoke to Meilon. He then herd the man beside him speak for the first time, so he was psychic most interesting. "So how long have you been able to do that?" Hades asked Arturas looking at him.

"Apparently you have little aptitude for observation, My race do not have what you call mouths, our vocal chords extend into the lower part of our minds, granting us untapped mental power..." He once again stared him down, annoyed that the parisitic worm addressed him like a friend...

Arturas bowed his head silently in respect to the Jedi, the others looking between them as they spoke without words, almost looking like they were mimes...

"I am curious as to this Jedi you speak of for I have never had the honor of hearing the term..."

Waiting until he was done speaking to Hades, Jenth spoke to Arturas. "The Jedi are an Order of Knights who defend the citizens of the Galactic Republic from the likes of the Trade Federation, Techno Union, and the Confederacy of Independent Systems."

Akiko felt left out and waited patiently to be directed to her new sleeping quarters. She hoped there were more like her around here, more humans. Then, she looked upon the jedi well... I guess he counts she thought, and smiled to herself.

A small team of drab attired staff approached the group and introduced them to their charges, Alida to Akiko, Meliath to Jenth, Kuroth to Hades , Medoran to Arturas and Meilon's assistant Keila had accompanied the group to speak in private to her boss.

After Alida introduced herself Akiko responed "Hey Alida" while offering to shake hands. "Pleased to meet you"

She then looked around and whispered into Alida's ear "When do I go to my room, I feel a little out of place here... my universe has no alien species, yet, and well... its a little intimidating" she grinned slightly.

Alida shook the young womans hand and smiled, "Dont worry, we can go now and I understand...I extracted myself from your universe in 1998...no doubt a lot has changed since then."

"Really?" She was interested in this person already "only a bit, technology is getting better and better, and..." she thought about all the alien races here that probably have space colonies, then laughed "... and we landed a space rover on mars"

She waited for Alida to escort her to her room then followed, conversing on the way.

Alida began to move away from the group, nodding as the younger woman spoke, "You know I was only a tiny bit older than you when I shifted here permanently...I used to be a fighter in the arena but now I work for Meilon..."

"Heh, maybe thats my future... if my siblings don't go and get themselves killed, so I don't have to take over the family, this place is like i'm living in a science fiction book" she looked around, amazed at everything she saw while following Alida

"I know, I felt the same way when I came here for the first time...it's a little overwhelming for the first few days but after that you get used to it." She explained, moving through the large ancient structures.

Hades justed listened and kept watch of Arturas. <If he is physic maybe he's already knows what I am....> Hades though to himself.

(He can't read minds but he can read Hades' behaivior like a book, he knows... That's why he mistrusts him...)

Arturas simply stared down at Medoran (assuming he's humanoid), not knowing what the purpose of being introduced to this man was...
He looked at Melion quisically, wondering what was happening...

Jenth bowed to Meliath and introduced himself as, "I am Jedi Master Jenth Besh. It is an honor to meet you."

Each staff member in turn chose to take this moment to allow their charges to bid temporary 'farewells' to eachother before escorting them to their individual quarters.

Arturas bowed only to Melion and Jenth, leaving the others idly to go with Medoran. Not long after they had begun to make their way over, Arturas inquired telepathically and almost anxiously, "When might the first of the combat begin, I would enjoy a soon-coming fight and would be honored to enlist amongst the first..."

Medoran raised an inquisitive brow and smiled, returning the telepathic message after a few moments of thought. "The first fights will proceed when Meilon formally opens the Arena..."

"You can challenge others as they may well with you. However if you do not wish to fight as of yet then you may publicly announce that you wish to train as a sudent first...trust me when I say that no one here will look down upon you for doing so."

Jenth returned Arturas' bow and followed Meliath to his quarters. Fighting was the last thing on his mind because of the carnage of the Clone Wars that he had just left, he asked her, "So, what is there to do here besides fighting?"
