Yeah but that leaves him on the extreme defenesive at all time if he wants to survive.

Tony's gonna stay in the air and force Cap to throw his shield. Once the shield is gone Tony can MissileSpam Cap. Odds are Cap will survive that thanks to his speed and experience, but at that point it comes down to a fist fight.

Iron Man also has a Spider sense. He won't be hit by Cap's shield whilst hundreds of feet in the air.

When Iron Man has his armour and there is no way for Cap to neutralise it like he did in CW 7, its just a matter of how long Cap can hold out, hes not going to win.
