Thunderball's chain so pure magic, and Walter being tortured and beaten earlier wouldn't have the strength to bust it regardless.

However, Sasquatch could have turned into Walter and back into Sasquatch in a second to escape it. It's better for the story he remains as something big is going to happen to him.

IE. The human form of Beta Ray Bill is having visions and sees a city sized Sasquatch and on the right "creat Beasts", which hints at Great Beasts

And yea turning back to Walter would have worked. Colossus did it to Juggernaut one time to get out of his grip.

I'm kinda not liking the series so far mainly because Sasquatch is getting treated like a wimp. But from the looks it's going to get good.

Yeah it was a low showing indeed, but the reason he got in that position was he had a nervous breakdown and the Crew threw the tanker on him blowing up. A non-jobbing Crew is no joke, they even nearly killed Hercules, and shrugged off blows from Thor and literally laughed at him. Still how they became this well..evil is odd, but a nice change from dumb bricks. Also Sasqauatch healing factor is quite powerful as Vision was destroying his organs through his phase grab into his body and Walter was healing in seconds. Vision was shocked he was surviving.

Like I said it does more for the story to keep him trapped.

I don't mind to much he is getting treated this way, as from the looks of it he is going to go Tanaraq and Scott Kolins hinted at the Crew is going to be killed. So we may see Tanaraq completly unleashed. The "true villian" of the series is going to be revealed in OF #4, it could even be Loki, which would be cool.

I'm loving this series, especially the many easter eggs.

Bill Rosemann an editor for Marvel comics says he wants to see an on-going for our hairy friend, and even Mike and Scott have verbally stated they are making stories for Sasquatch way past the Omega Flight mini. So is an on-going a future? Properly not, but it would be cool.

What Ben was really saying was he truly was tired "literally" physically and mentally. He'd been up 3 days straight and was without sleep in addition to the rumbles during those 3 days. When he met sassy he was on the 4th day of no sleep and now was to be fighting again.

IMO Ben being tired "weakened" is more a problem than sassy recouping from his transformation. Because there really isn't a time line for sassy as far as how long after he changed did he meet up with Ben... I don't think it was immediately afterwards, I could be wrong.

A. Since when is 1 post spamming.

B. That was said... And that fight was on I believe the 4th or 5th day straight of no sleep for Ben so his strength may have been depleted considerably indeed from his norm.

C. It was right after Dr.Lang changed into Sassy that they met is because why....? Oh yeah cause you said so. Because the comic itself never stated that.

D. And I guess I forgot how much you liked to take one comic instance or a comment by a character and turn it into the gospel...all the while poo poohing another comics instances or comments because it doesn't fit your cause.

BTW Ben has beaten the entire wrecking crew by himself on more than 1 occasion...Poor...Poor Sassy

So what your saying is that Ben's rocket came down Lang was 100ft away from it and changed right away...but decided to follow Ben around the forest half the day... But even after hours of following Ben he was still drained from his transformation?

I'll have to check my comics but if my memory is correct Tanaraq hadn't given the Crew any additional powers yet when they almost killed Sassy. I could be wrong.

Part of the thing with these respect threads is to make sure the info is correct and not just spew about a character. So that they are being respected for worthy acts not just shit thrown on the wall to see what sticks.

Bull, look at all the other things Sasquatch has done and compare them to Thing. Sasquatch is on a far higher level. We know for a fact he IS indeed stronger, not from just one direct quote.

The Wrecking Crew wasn't amped up until after they beat up Sasquatch. Issue #3 is where they get their power-up.

I think it's safe to say that Thing and Sasquatch both were tired during the battle though.

Nope, even Mike on jinxboard [his board] alluded to that fact Tanaraq was feeding them power before they entered the Realm of the Beasts.

Well that's kinda a cheap way out. I mean why didn't he alteast explain that in the comic somewhere instead of doing something odd like that. It does not make sense really.

But if it's true it explains the severe beating Walter took.

No idea, he mentioned in in a Q/A on his board. It was directly after OF #1 came out as people were questioning why would Walter lose to them. Even though a non-jobbing Crew are beasts.

Meh! Oeming merely brought back them to their old levels, such as Wrecker has one-shoted the Hulk in the past before.

Walter has fallen under the influence of Tanaraq and has gone mad. He nearly kills Guardian and Arachne until Beta Ray Bill appears and halts his attack. They breifly clash till Guardian breaks up the fight, and Walter begins to fight Tanaraq's influence
