I doubt it'd get through his shields and armour in one hit, and the sword would easly slice it to bits. One good hit with the sword would render the whole T-1000 glitchy and partly functional, seeing how it works the extreme heat would scramble alot of the micro electronic systems. And if it was hit or nearly hit by a rocket it'd take several seconds to reform, as parts knocked off the main body are not programmed to attack, but to reconnect. This is off topic though.
Um no, you don't know how the T-1000 works obviously. It couldn't slip inside his suit, energy shields, and it's air tight. And the shock from the rocket would disorient it's interconnected systems, microscopic as they are, kenetic or hydraulic damage dosen't really hurt, but temporarily or partially disables the device. The heat would have a similar effect. Like when Conner shot it with w/e gun at the end of the movie, it took a LOONG time to heal the holes and the shock nearly knocked it off the edge. A rocket would do more than that, and when it's in more than one peice it cant attack. The MC is easly fast enough to move in and fry large portions of it.

Didn't you read ANYTHING about what I put up there? The Rocket would disable the T-1000 long enough, if placed right, easly for the MC to take out large portions of it's body. And individual pieces CANT attack the programming dosen't allow it. If he hit it and blew it to pieces, the liquid globs would start to reform after a while, or instantly, but their speed would be limited. During this time the MC would slice it to bits, and it could NOT recover from an energy sword. The HEAT would wreck it's systems.
that scenrio is assuming the fight starts with MC pointing a rockot laucher at the T-1000, IF they were to meet it'd proably be a cyberdyne ship boardding MC's, in with case you think the T-1000 is just going to come running in?? liek i said he'd proably be part of the floor or something

and as a footnote, they can calculate 1,000,000,000,000 combinations in 1 second flat, so yeah tough nuts to crack
