It was low level but the voting system was extremely suspect (seeing as over half the voters wandered in from the OTF to vote in their one-off comic forum apearances)
But it still made for a much more varied field of characters than the herald level tournament

You have to admit though it was hilarious when ...(Can't remember his name because I have a shitty memory) Started pm'ing otf posters to vote for him.
Newjak, I had the exact same idea years ago (during the first amalgam herald tourney) of Juggs, Flash, and Alan. It would be a tough combo to beat. Great minds...
Anyway, the honor system doesn't work. Trust me. People are generally honest, but they love finding holes in the rules that allow them to have advantages.
And the last tourney just ended like a month ago....I'm sure a lot of people aren't too keen on another right now.

Anyways yeah its hard to really have a clean system though just based on the nature of the game being trying to find any and all advantages you can bring to the table.

While it would satisfy more people, it would also push some away. Obviously you could compete in either, or both...but many would likely not want to take on the responsibility and trouble of competing in two tournaments at the same time. Hence, you'd likely split the tournament going population.
Unless everyone else tells me Im wrong, in which case....sure! 🙂.
