: Gibbs turns on his heel and walks out of the room. Jack sits down in a chair and props his feet up on the chart table. Elizabeth shoves them out of her way and moves her face in for a closer look at the chart. She glances at Jack for a moment, then turns away.

It shouldn't take more than a day or two.

(pointedly)
I can see that.

Jack lowers his feet and falls forward, reaching over Elizabeth's arm and placing a fingertip on the chart.

Jack
When did you learn to read these? Can't say I've ever seen you display this particular talent. Any other surprises then, love?

(Lifting his hand away)

(Beat)
And I would appreciate it if you would not address me that way, Captain.

Jack stands, swaggers a bit, then leans forward, grinning.

Back to being all respectable and proper, then? Very well. As you ask, consider it done.

(Tightening her jaw)

: Elizabeth turns away and does not see that Jack's grin has faltered. He steps behind her and walks toward the door.

And don't worry about your honor, Elizabeth,
(He waves off the slight)
I mean, Miss Swann, and for your actions at our last parting, a gentleman never tells. I can honestly say that I will carry it with me to the grave.
(Beat)

: Jack steps out the door and slams it behind him, leaving Elizabeth alone. She glances up at the closed door, then sits in Jack's vacated chair. She leans her head back and stares out the porthole.

WHY DO YOU THINK IT IS SO FUNNY THAT THE MAIN CHARACTER AND THE GREAT CAPTAIN JACK SPARROW IS HEARTBROKEN.....IT'S HORRIBLE...BUT I BET WHEN AND IF THIS SCENE IS PLAYED OUT IN THE MOVIE...WE SEE HUGE SEXUAL TENSION BETWEEN JACK AND LIZ...AND THEY CHANGE IT FROM HER SOFTLY SAYING "WILL" TO "JACK"......THEY DID NOT PUT ALL THE UNDERLYING CLUES, HINTS AND SYMBOLISMS INTO DMC FOR NOTHING...IT MEANS SOMETHING AND IT AIN'T ABOUT WILL AND LIZ....SORRY.

That is not a very nice thing to say about anyone especially Ted and Terry who love the fans, including you.

I also love Jack Sparrow. I have nothing against him. I just prefer Will and Elizabeth, but I want a fitting end for all the characters.

Well a lot of people hate the chatracter of Will..you look at any critical revie no one ever praises his character..he's just the thing that was placed into movie 1 because Jack was a risk as a character..

I wonder why they even have sexual tension in AWE between Jack/Liz unless they are teasing us with these 2 as a possibility..and judging by the ending...well I think there would be a big chance for Jack/Liz to get together in the 4th movie..now that the whelp has been written out of the story. THANK GOD

They are basically dedicating this story to Will because its his final one..and they are ending with Will/Liz....pun intended.
