Thanks TOH. 🙂

Thanks for being difficult. 😛

...I actually tried a subtle blur on the hair to make it seem wet, but it looked atrocious. A barely-visible chrome layer is the closest I could come to making the render seem more wet without crap-itizing it.

Try using the smudge brush next time - set it to Natural Brushes, and pick the first one. Use it at about 30-40% strength and you can (with some work) change how the hair looks and stuff.

Ahhh...CS2.

Nope, you can do it in any version of PS. You don't scatter smudge, just the regular smudge tool.

I do it all the time in my photomanips if I want to fix the hair of the stock model without having to repaint it.

"Natural Brushes"?

It's a default set that comes with PS.

*investigates*

😮

I have found new power 🥷

😂

Except I still don't know how this power works.

Are you referring to the little grass pieces and leaf brushes?

No.

The Natural Brush set is brushes that are basically speckle-type things. I dunno why it's called that, but whatever...

Go in your brush menu and select Replace Brushes and choose the Natural Brushes set. It's pretty simple 😛

ok. 😂

...and I got a PM asking about the rain effect too. Glad my sig has inspired so much interest, even if it's only to tell Alliance something amusingly obvious.

😉

I'm a self taught photoshopper. I never use tuts and no one taught me any techniques.

Therefore, I often have a unique (and often arduous) way of accomplishing effects. I'm sure I'm missing many basic techniques that all of you know.

I forfeit thankyou

Dont have time to make oneermm

I'm a self-taught GIMP-er. That might be why my sigs suck...
