No, you debate with him to belittle him as you proved just a minute ago. You annoy him so you get into an argument and then you can "own" him. That isn't debating, thats you just picking a fight with someone "smaller" (for lack of a better word). And yes it makes you a dick.

Val is correct on every point. They both incite one another. I've rarely seen Capt go off on anybody without provocation. Grimm is a smartass but rarely crosses the line.
