People have been getting bans after years of warnings. Far from unjust.

That is not what is happening. People are arguing over stupid things and spamming the same suggestions repeatedly (including one that has been shot down by Raz himself), and refusing to move on when asked to do so.
ban the senior members who posted most frequently
They still have to follow the rules, same as everyone else. Having a high post count or old registration date doesn't make you exempt from consequences.

As someone who's been here six years I think it is probably prudent to point out that for at least five of those six users have been going around prophesying the end of the forum.
When VV came along, and I recall, I was of the thinking that the forum had reached the doldrums, I considered the banter of the OTF facile and dominated by new members who seemed intent on causing trouble. However, four years on the forum is still here. The thing is as old members drift away newer members come along, for those of us of "older" KMC generations left behind we sometimes think the forum is coming to an end, in reality it is not, rather it is just the activity of us and our friends which has come to an end. Newer members create a new community.
It's a shame you feel you have to leave VV, however that is your volition- don't try and create the image that somehow moderators are to blame.
New members aren't joining in anywhere near the volume they once were, you'd be a fool to think otherwise. The forums are on a downwards spiral, anyone with an ounce of common sense sees this.
I'm not saying that it's completely down to the staff but I'd be lying if I said I didn't think it was a factor.
As for Vinny's leaving... Him and I haven't always seen eye to eye... But he at least posted frequently. I just see it as one less poster.

It's hard to build a community up when you ban the senior members who posted most frequently, and then all their friends leave. Argue this hasn't happened? It would be great to see the forum crawl back to where it once was, however I'm a realist.
As I said KMC... Goodbye, Goodnight, However which way you want to look at it... I'm sad to be leaving under these circumstances, but I believe it is best. I wish those I have befriended over my time here who have decided to stay the best, and as I said, you'll always know how to contact me.
