I'm not doubting the fact that Luffy's damage output is above Reed's, it's just that blunt damage won't really do anything to Mr.Fantastic. Reed wouldn't be able to deal any damage to by punching him, but he has other tactics.

Spawn has had his entire body ripped to shreds multiple times. He's had his head cut off, been impaled, had his heart ripped out, etc.

When it comes to taking pain, there aren't many characters that can top him.
