Francis Bacon

A 16th century philosopher from England. A man who pushed the boundaries by saying Man is only to serves oneself, not to serve God. By him saying this, it made people think outside of the box, discover America and a whole load of other things.

Yeah, I like his thoughs. He gave a new perspective to many aspects of the classic though about sciences, politics etc...

He also says that philosophy can lead to religion. A few people here might want to bear that in mind.
