Ki Adi Mundi vs. Rots obi wan

i saw a thread on who was higher in rank of the council and it gave me the idea for this thread

i searched and didnt find anything on this i hope someone hasnt posted this

I would as well. Mundi is powerful, but I don't think he could stand up to Kenobi.

Kenobi for sure - GG beat Mundi pretty badly. Kenobi is stronger than Grievous.

But that was CW GG - a much stronger version that the one Kenobi fought. Also doesnt Mundi use Makashi, this will give him a nice advantage. But certainly not enough for Mundi to win.

How does a droid significantly decrease in power over a period of two years while training with your Dooku?

Because he got force crushed by Mace Windu - this leaving him slow and crippled.

I strongly disagree. In fact, while I have no FACTS to back up my words, I believe it has even been said that he’s up there with the top five most powerful Jedi in the Order (in his time). Possibly the main reason to assume this is because Yoda himself once specifically stated that only HE had the skills to defeat the supposedly deranged Jedi Sharaad Hett. During the conversation, as Ki-Adi replies “You charm me, Master”, Yoda states, and indeed I quote: “the truth, only I speak”.

He was also put on the Jedi Council while STILL a Jedi Knight, and I believe it was Yoda again who insisted he be put on the council.

Anyway,

While Ki-Adi did ultimately lose to GG, you must also add the fact that, as stated in the Clone Wars, the Jedi had been tired out before the duel. This is unlikely to mean anything, as he probably would have lost either way, but just thought I’d add it in…

We may not know very much about Ki-Adi’s prowess, but still, for a Jedi Master to be revered by Yoda, is quite something IMO.

Hence, in my very insignificant and invalid opinion, Mundi would win.

Obi-Wan pwns Ki-Adi-Mundi. What has Mundi shown us except getting destroyed by GG.

Obi-Wan seemed to be not exerting THAT much power against ROTS Grievous. I would say he could also defeat EU GG.

actually, he was starting the process of becoming a master before he was on the council, and then when he was permanently invited, he was given the rank of Master, so it was simoutaneous. He wasnt on the council before hand as a Knight.
