Thank you, Mist, for creating this panel discussion. Sig making has always been a strong point of mine and now it is time to share why I do it and what it all means. Thanks again, Mist.
Well, I'll start out first with a very in depth explanation for why I make the sigs I do. This current one, for example, was spawned because I was bored with my old one. I had a few moments at work to make a new sig, so I googled "Weird Images" and some pics from the 80's hit film 'Weird Science' came up. As a huge fan of this film, I decided I'd like a sig about this. So, I re-googled "Weird Science", and chose these pics as my avi and sig.
A bit about the film, "Weird Science". It's a hilarious movie, if you haven't seen it, I suggest you do. The creature you see in my sig, the disgusting character that scares and freaks out some of our beloved forum members such as Roland, is actually Bill Paxton. Yes, he was changed into this grotesque character by the woman that his brother and his brother's friend created. Here's a vid from Youtube I found that shows what Chet was before he was turned into the hideous creature you see in my sig. I hope you watch this vid and it encourages you to rent the movie, cuz the movie is a classic that represents a generation, that is why I made it into my sig. 😊

Well, as a matter of fact, I'm still in the 'Weird Science' moment, so it hasn't really hit me yet to change my sig. When I create a sig, Mist, I don't sit down and say, "I'm going to make a new sig." It usually hits me like a lazer weasel smashing into a wall without control of it's own momentum. One day soon I will sit down and I will be tired of the Weird Science sig, and I will take the necessary actions to change the sig, be it googling some images to get ideas, or maybe I'll draw one of my poignant drawings and use that as a sig. It's like when a screenwriter sits down to work on his/her screenplay. Usually the screenwriter knows what they want to write about ahead of time, otherwise they get writer's block if they try to hard to come up with new award winning hit ideas . . . ideas like that of the sigs I create.
So, for now, I really don't know what is in store for my next sig. 😎

As a sig maker, Mist, I am always willing to expand and explore my inner sig. This may surprise you, but I have a lot of trouble sizing my sigs to fit the KMC parameters. Every time I download one, it usually tells me it's too big. So, I shrink them and shrink them until they finally are accepted to download. Even that infrafran thing is difficult for me to figure out. This issue is a flaw of mine that could lead to my downfall.
