Sorry I just dont like Sony 😐Ever since March 2005 they have begun cheating and copying their way to their ultimate demise.
Don't deny it, everyone knows that Nintendo is going to destroy Sony this holiday season 😉
Originally posted by Big SexyNo, not in Nintendo's dream, Nintendo will walk out of this holiday season with far more sales and a far larger profit margin than Sony. The latter is always true for Nintendo though, the gamecube reaped more profit than the X Box and the PS2 combined. Sony will get sales, Microsoft will continue it's slow march forward with its huge head start, but Nintendo is going to explode.
In Nintendos wet dream maybe

They always do in the beginning, and they always fall right behind later.
I see Sony taking bottom rung in the ladder this time around. People saw their PS2's turn into oversized DVD players, and their PS1's got so ****ed, they had turn it upside down, hang it halfway off their entertainment system and squeeze the casing together to get a game to start. Now they want people to run off to pay 600 for their poor workmanship? **** that.
Part of Nintendo's lack of success, if you call creeping in right under X Box, a few million sales short, but when you're speaking in terms of 50 million its' not a lot, especially with their far larger profit gains... was partially due to lack of it being a multimedia machine, something they recovered this time around, moving to DVD format.
Microsoft makes quality stuff, I have not a lot to say about them, besides the fact I wish they'd come out with more than one high profile game a year, when Nintendo and Sony push closer to a dozen in the same timeframe. Exclusives I mean, like Call of Duty playing better on their system than the other two doesn't cut it, because you can play it on all consoles and on PC.

Even if the Wii does bomb (which it won't)
Nintendo still will always have their handheld market, and its quite apparent that no one can touch them there.
Originally posted by JuntaiHaha, how does it not matter? Of course it matters. Nintendo only rules consoles, and that’s because they’re Nintendo. It was the same thing with Game Gear being vastly superior in most games and tech-wise, but still got the boot, despite having traveling and home adapters. Regardless Nintendo is falling behind each and every generation with their gaming because they are old fashioned. They run the risk of becoming strictly third party if the consoles continue to have less-than-impressive results. All companies are about profit.

Originally posted by JuntaiI really don’t think so. At first I really did, but I never saw Nintedo being the threat last August, I was concerned about Xbox, but they aren’t doing anything that I’m worried about. Ninetendo will just have the same hardcore fans buying their systems as usual, and people will save up and buy Sony most likely.

Originally posted by JuntaiDespite it being the highest selling console to date? Funny thing is I have quite a big family and many friends. I, two of my cousins, and one of my friends had PS2. The rest had gamecube and one had xbox. Now they all have Sony, because they realize that Nintendo is only good at the beginning with their first party titles, and produces nothing interesting afterwards. There’s nothing spectacular with the gamecube right now, the last thing was Resident evil. As always Sony has that anyways. PLUS the DvD playing and everything else, and it was the oldest system of the three and had the least specs. But still sold the most… hmmm

Originally posted by JuntaiFunny how mine still works. What are people doing with their N64’s? The only good thing that was good on that was Smash Bros and arguably Jet Force, by now they’re too old and uninterested in Banjo Kazooie and the other nonsense. Oh wait and Goldeneye. Which is surpassed by Timesplitters. The rest are on GC, which like N64, had only good first party titles and nothing else. The games make the system. If Sony doesn’t make the same mistake it did with PSP, which I doubt they will considering the cost. They’ll be fine. I do agree that their machines can be worked on more, but I think that’ll be fine this time around.

Originally posted by JuntaiFunny how everyone was bitching about PS2 having the least specs, but now when it has the best ones it still doesn’t matter, and is an excuse for Nintendo fans to cuddle up next to their Link and Samus dolls.

Originally posted by JuntaiFunny, I thought DVD’s were a bad idea. Funny how when Sony does something Nintendo does it’s copying. But when Nintendo does what Sony does it isn’t. I guess they do need to stay alive, after figuring out Cartridges were bad ideas as as well. Games matter first, but versatility are what people look for, even if it isn’t used all the time. Harsh but honest truth.

I'm not saying they aren't fun, but I'm not spending alot of money on one. I just get mine from my friends when they are no longer interested in them and have something better.

On the contrary I think Sony's controller is the worst. I own all three of the XBox, cube and Ps2, I prefer the controller of the other two over Sony, they just feel better, and they're far more responsive. .. and don't cramp my hands after 15 minutes of jamming buttons. But with the toylike look of the GC, I have to say X Box edges out having the best controller.
Right now, Sony's entire fate is the hands of their next gen system, their stocks at the lowest they've been since the early 80's, their consumer confidence has slid dramatically after the fall of the PSP which the DS simply murdered. [Who didn't see that coming?] They're far more of a videogame based company than you, or they might like to believe.

Nintendo DS' first year on the shelf saw it as one of the successful launches of any system ever. It's still the fastest selling machine on the market even now.
It's far from a dead market.

Really? 😕
I hated G-cube's controller 😬
If you ask me the best controller is the 360 controller. After that its the Dual Shock2 and then the Xbox Controller S.
The rest pretty much suck
Originally posted by JuntaiI still don't know why. I have both handhold's and to me besides a few titles , DS is little more than a glorified game boy advance.
Not really, support from third part is all but pulled from PSP. Major retailers like Walmart, Kmart, etc all stopped carrying PSP movie titles, even Best Buy is soon to cross them out. Out of all movies they put out on the format, hundreds of titles, they only sold a couple hundred thousand total. Millions in losses. Sony thought they could handle it, they couldn't, they're pulling out.Nintendo DS' first year on the shelf saw it as one of the successful launches of any system ever.
