Abomination Confirmed For "Incredible Hulk"!

http://www.comicbookmovie.com/news/articles/2982.asp

Finally! After much talk, it has been confirmed that Abomination will be a nemesis to the new Hulk in his latest movie, which will be a complete do-over of 2003's box office disaster.

People expected someone playing Hulk because they are a stupid audience that know nothing of Marvel Comics.

Disaster is too strong a word. The reaction was mixed, with feelings the film was too arty for its own good.

The Hulk was excellent...the angles, the acting, everything in it. Again, stupid people.

The Hulk was a terrible movie, with a mess of a plot that went in circles. Do not insult other people because they have a difference in opinion then you.

When someone gives you a qualification they're doing it by own judgement not facts. In fact, science is based on judgement not facts. Your opinion is not valid.

My opinion is just as valid as yours. No more, no less.

If you believe otherwise, the words "arragont," "ignorant," and 'elitist" come to mind.

I liked the first Hulk movie but it was a little too avant-garde for the typical movie goer.

trying to give a good story to a character that just says "smash" and then proceeds to do so... the odds were against ang lee from the get go

my feelings exactly - it was reaching for something that just wasn't there. It wasn't as bad as some peopel make it out to be, however.

I said box office disaster because it was. Doesn't mean I hated it. It was an iffy film. It did horribly at box office either way.

I liked Hulk in some ways. It lacked action though. No real test for the Hulk I thought. I have only recently heard there was going to be another movie so do you guys know if the actors will be the same?

So is this a complete re-telling? A la Batman Begins?

I heard they were starting from scratch, which kinda sucks. The acting was spot on I felt, the script was just pretty weak.

I'm calling stupid to the people responsible not you guys.

As much as I didn't like the first Hulk film...(it seemed to me like they took the idea of Hulk vs government - which I think should be what the first film is about - and then decided to mess it all up by screwing with continuity and everything to a hysterical point)...I think its too soon for a "retelling", you know what I mean?

If they really wow us with a restart, that'd be good, but if its only slightly better, they might as well have just made it a sequel.

Truth.

And I think the public might be a bit confused--"Didn't I just watch this movie a couple of years ago?"

They should probably just use the first film as like, a ''general history" for Hulk in the movie world, and not make this a direct sequel, but more of a follow up. They could still use Absorbing Man - just make it so they took the same principles that gave his father the powers and tried to replicate it - though it'd be a little stupid to use the same type of villain twice.....Abomination is definitely the best route to go for the sequel, and they can just say the hell with continuity issues from the first one. Give us a little brief recap kind of thing at the beginning to clear up what you've changed (as well as give a little history for the people that are seeing this without having seen Hulk, which annoys me, but people still do it lol), and then make this movie totally different in virtually every aspect haha.

Well this restart isn't supposed to include his origin in it, Its supposed to be a bit like the 70's tv series where Banner is on the run trying to cure himself, only this time Hulk will get to slug it out with Abomination.

I think it would be better if they just continued down the set path. Ang Lee told the origin story, the door is now wide open for an action fest. As much as I DON'T want to see Hulk smashing everyone, I think it would be commercially more viable.

just one question though....How the hell are they going animate TWO CGI creatures with a mere 100 million dollar budget? The animation in the first film, while generally excellent, was still far from perfect. And now they want the Abomination?
