Speakers plugged in, comp says "No audio device"

My speakers are plugged in PROPERLY, the light on the speakers is on, but on the sound menu from the taskbar it says "no audio device."

Please help.

You probably need a driver. You should find out which and then install it. Or something like that. Although I am jsut guessing...I like to guess....if it doesn't help you should hit the computer. That usually solves all problems.
