I never liked Luke, he was really whiny and annoying, it really bugged me, everything else about the OT was awesome, they just should have made Luke better in my opinion.

Luke's not as bad as his dad though.... and Luke stops whining in ROTJ... Anakin never does.

He is fatally wounded as a darksider... Luke remains and is a lightsider... Yoda dies of old age... I'd say the good side rules.

Didn't he return to the Light once he made to pick up the Emperor? 'Cause he was wounded WHILE doing that.

Heck no... didn't you hear his terrible breathing after Luke cut his hand off? Something went pretty wrong there... Seems Palpy finished him off...

Besides, he died because of being evil... that brought him in that position. Turning to the light side couldn't save his life anymore.

Well yeah, he was an evil bastard for 23 years, and being evil put him in that position, he'll never be fully redeemed. But, canonically I've heard again and again that in the instant he made to save Luke from Palpatine, he returned to the Light, and died because of that act. You know, the whole lightning thing.

Who cares... Light side rules.

It was the lightning that did the damage not luke chopping his arm off
