Freddy and Jason living beside eachother??

Notice how in the last FT13 movie freddys glove pulled jasons mask,
And also in freddy v.s jason how the kids were on elm St. and then they got in there van and drove for like 1 hour and then they were at camp crystal lake. How does that work, that means threw both of the whole series(nightmare on elm street),(friday the 13th) that they were killing 100s of people and they were only like an hour away from eachother? thats wierd. and how does that work..lol

Easy... "Every town has an Elm St... HAHAHAHAHAAA!"

It's a movie!

i know but still

How about the fact that Springwood is in Ohio and Crystal Lake is in Illinois?

True movie universes are never really mirror the "real" universe. Instead I like to think of them as "alternate realities" where anything is possible.

There's a crystal lake in Florida as well and I'm sure there is more the one springwood 😬

Haddonfield is in Illinois too! Perfect for FvJvM! 😱

So we're just gonna assume that there are Crystal Lakes everywhere?

There was no logic to FvJ. It'd be a crime to disclude either location with their crossover so they nudged some facts so it'd work.

I'm sure when the immortal Jason was conceived, no one would've considered Jason to be stopped by tranquilizers.

Yeah well the tranquilizers did nothing more than put him to sleep for a couple of hours... More like a "pause" than a "stop."

Freddy's glove was in Jason X??? Which scene, Jason X was the last FD13 movie wasn't it?

OMG that is all way too funny...I feel sorry for the coroner's....What with Elm street and Crystal Lake being just an hour apart and the numbers of sequels...makes for one hell of a body count.

Theres an elm street in Lincoln, Nebraska........

There's one in Brea, California too.

And an Elm Avenue somewhere near Chino.

Freddy doesn't lie. Every town has an Elm Street.

Stopped him. Then he started a little while later.

His hand was at the end of Jason Goes to Hell if that's what you're referring to....

Yeah I don't think anyone considers that awful atrocity of a movie Jason X to be a "true sequel" to the Friday the 13th series. In fact I've never seen it, because SO many people have told me how bad it is.

The F13 series became a joke long before Jason X. Jason X was meant to be bad, and funny.

I didn't know whether or not people referred to Jason X as a sequal.

I thought Freddy vs Jason was a cool idea and was something everyone wanted to see. I think its pretty true about kids not being scared of Freddy anymore, I'm sure kids under 10 would probably be scared by it, but nowadays nothing from TV or movies is scary

I think Jason vs Mike Myers would've worked kinda better

Directors put little hints to fellow directors and movies they respect in their own movies all the time. Especially in the horror scene.
For example; 'The hills have eyes' poster in the cellar in Evil Dead. Freddy's glove on the wall in Evil Dead 2.
The bone dagger from Evil Dead used by Jason in Friday the 13th part 8.
It doesn't mean there is any connection between the movies, it's just a friendly nod from one to another.
