Guy as warrior also stomped on the entire Super-family at the same time, and they had nothing for him. Guy was going nutzo, Superman was saying he was mightier than Doomsday.

There was another instance where he beat out Lobo in a fragging contest lol. They had a bet and Lobo lost, so he bought Guy a bike like his for Christmas. After reading Guys series and the Warrior series, it appears that Lobo and Guy were pretty close friends. Uhh friendly competition rather.

Just checked the fight Juntai mentioned and yeah....Guy is definitely can take on The Classic Hulk. Classic Hulk was even pushed up by Rhino 😄

I was talkin' about the character development.
I liked the way he was not a good guy, and he wasn't even one of the anti-heroes. He was just some dude that had problems. He sure as hell was not "together".
And, when he lost his GL powers, he was not satisfied to just be a regular person. He wanted to have powers, and even when he had none, he put himself up against a lot of characters that did. Right up to the point where it was his will against the will of Sinestro.

Then, it was cool, with him coming back to earth, and DEMANDING some respect, after showing up with the Yellow Ring.
How cool is THAT?!
But the key to Guy's character was his "Humanity". He was just a human. A human loser. And, he fought his way to become something more.
I thought they were on a very cool track.
Then, they just took his humanity away, and turned him into one of the 5 other characters with the same background, and the same powers.
Terrible.
