colossus vs spiderman

Actually it's one of the few cases when carver seems right.

Piotr's armored form boosts his speed as stated by Claremont himself.

Iirc he surprised Deadpool with his speed.

And Wolverine. These aren't the only ones, I bet.

Yes...it has been stated too many times that Colossus have super speed...hell, Wolverine even compared the guy to lightning.

That's what I'm talking about. He's got exceptionally quick reflexes for a guy his size and weight, but he's not Spider-Man speed, which is my point.

Yeah, the guy is f*cking quick when he wants to be. Most writers just tend to make him like every other brick though.

But yeah, Pete becoming a Phoenix turned him into a literal manchild. And he was holding back both times he fought against Spidey.

Just look at how much damage Mr. Negative did, and he wasn't holding back. A Colossus no holds barred would kill Spidey. It might take a bit in a comic, but there's no way he'd survive a fight with the tin man if he didn't run.
