In The NAil, Hal Jordan gave batman the strength, invulnerability, and stamina to fight the Superman lvl baddie. There is no need to rewrite your DNA when you can do all of that. There is no power in all of comics under Skyfather that a GL can not replicate. Invisability, Telepathy what ever.

Well Cytorakk Enchanted The Juggernaut but it's fair to say, The Juggernaut can be out done.Also when I say kyle made a daxamite, like he created him. Any way, In a str8 up fight of the hammer vs the ring with users, The Ring bearer can do things the hammer cannot. ABsorb planets worth of people, create entire armies of Super beings, and go invisible are just a few I can think of that are out of the hammer's range of power.
