And you should. It's not being selfish in my eyes, it's not holding someone else to be higher than yourself. Why? One should admire their own work and challene themselves to better their lives, not give up and place themselves lower than others.
Not exactly think if yourself as King or Queen mind you, just hold your interests and persona, as well as feelings, thoughts and decisions very highly.
There's a difference from:
A. What I do matters and has an impact just as much as everyone else
and
B. Everyone is filth compared to me, I am the king/queen of everything.
