But their formal names are both Richard.

Which is probably why they are called "Rick" and "Dick", which is totally not confusing.

What about if 'Rick' changed his name to 'Dick'?

Then it would be confusing.

Yes. Or if "Rick" changed his name to "Panda"....and "Dick" to "Bear"....and then "Rick" also to "Bear". I think we are on to something ...to the Floodock mobile! Nananananananana.

*sigh*

Leave it to you dingle-dorks to take this threads purpose and run it into the ground.

Let's leave the bullshit in the OTF, shall we?

This story nearly made me cry.

I can't believe how much that family has been through, and rather than give up, or become hateful as many of us would, they push through.

They rise above the circumstances of this world to enjoy what they have been given, and make the most of it:

This life.

What would I do, were I born disabled? Or if I was like the father, and my son were disabled?

Would I give in to despair and bitterness? or would I make the most of what I have, and love every minute of life that I'm blessed with?

As the song says: "I can ony imagine"...

edit: Timed out.

Here's a fresh link to the story and video:

I cried. Very moving and inspirational.

I didn't want to post this in the OTF for obvious reasons, although there's not really anything to debate about. I just wanted to share it.

i saw that a while ago...

Really well said, thanks for that.

Edit; Just watched it again, it really is one of the most amazing things I've ever seen.
