I think the main crux of the argument is that even with Darkseid's Omega Beams, he wouldn't win because the Omega Beams don't have an effect on those who are part of the cosmic consonance. In other words, those who are necessary for the existence of the universe.
Then again, I wonder what the Anti-Life Equation would do. It's supposed to reconstruct reality as he wants right? So technically, he could undo the need for Tenebrous? Anybody got a description on the Anti-Life Equation?
Tenebrous, easy. galactus has shown darkseid is nothing but an annoyance to him, and tenebrous is if not exactly, almost exactly as powerful as galactus. in a one on one fight galactus and tenebrous would probably fight to a standstill, thats why that female one whos name i cant remember helped out.

Tenebrous was actually beating Galactus ass, until Aegis decided to step in.
The-essential-for-the-universe thing is a bit sketchy in the Omega Effect, it didnt work against Imperiex, the latter was destroyed and the universe goes on. How essentials was Imperiex if Kismet wanted to take him down? Plain and simple, Imperiex was more powerful, the OE didnt work on him, same with Tenebrous.

It didnt work in the "you are vanished from existance, time and reality, ooops I just won!" kind of way, if Imperiex was just hurted, we can assume that others beyond DS's powers will shrug the OE off. No need of talking about essential-for-the-universe nonesense.
Who's to say who is definitively above Darkseid, who's defeated armies of gods, and is the balance of creation itself -- that they may be able to simply shrug it off?
Imperiex's body was obliterated by Supes and the beams.
But OWAW was a Superman story, just got some others involved.
The point is that, when we dont know for sure if DS is above someone's level or not, it would be wrong for us to assume that he can erase them from existance, that would be as much as assuming that DS can beat them since we dont really know what it takes to stand the OE.
Before that we could assume that it could erase anyone, but now we have stronger reasons to doubt it give its been messured.
I thought individually Aegis & Tenebrous are equal to Galactus.

Based on what? The Spectre was Hurt During his fight with DS. Surely you dont' think Tenebrious is anywhere near the Spectre's power. DS can surely get some good licks in. And considering DS can't be killed, he could just keep coming back to be a serious bother to Tenebrious.

Are you refering to a NON CANNON comic book? The same comic book that Galactus stated that DS had Great power. How many beings would tell someone how powerful they are and consider them an insect hmm? As I said before, Tenebrious cannot kill DS and since Tenebrious isn't as powerful as the Spectre, I would surmise that they both would be able to hurt each other since DS clearly is powerful enough to hurt the Spectre.
