I think Ryu's got this. Sub-zero's only chance is to ice ryu and freeze him solid. Unless he nails Ryu early, Ryu will wtfpwn him.

Classic Zero without medallions and shit I give it to Ryu most of the time. Now if he has all his powerups and experience Ryu will be in deep shit-like trouble.

Wait, how much more powerful is he? I'm a little behind in the MK mythos. Is he really powerful enough to rival 3rd strike Ryu?

I haven't followed MK since Deadly Alliance, but back then he was leader of the Lin Kuei(spelling??) and he had a medallion that multiplied his powers. Frost(a Lin Kuei ninja with the same gift as Zero) stole the medallion in order to overthrow Sub-Zero and she got frozen to death due to lack of control over the medallion's increase of her own powers.

i like ryu better, but he loses this one...
