White Guilt !
It's what liberal whites feel when confronted with the race issue. A feeling no contemporary white person should feel.
Sure white ancestry committed all the atrocities in this country throughout the past half-mellinia and segregation and racism is still widely practiced by whites in the U.S. -even till this day- but, whites should not feel guilty about what they're ancestors did 100 years ago.

Perhaps it isn't so much a guilt as a precaution. Whites (ironically becoming the minority) are attempting to be the bridge for many cultures that they (we) are trying to keep that status, and do no wish to cause any (or worsen what already is) relations with other people/cultures.

If blacks are receiving special exceptions then they aren't being treated equally huh?
Yesterday doesn't equal today and because of that there should be equal treatment, although from your comment here it would seem as though you don't prefer equal.

And no one will ask Muslims to apologise for 9/11 in a hundred years.
