What color is a mirror?

hmm

I always feel kind of embarrassed for people when they mistakenly post threads like this here.

Mirrors are just aluminum and glass shrug

Whatever the mirror reflects.

Anyhow, a surface that is either plane, concave, or convex and that reflects rays of light. =) answers your question?

Silver.

Go, Tollen's, go!

reflective silver?

always get the feeling it is...

Green. Sometimes blue-purple.

Never Orange.

Depends on the mirror.

Silver, because of the aluminium.

An object has a given color because that is the wavelength of light reflecting off the object into the eye. A mirror is all colors because it reflects all wavelengths (and with minimum distortion: this is why a mirror casts a sharp, coherent image).

TOLLEN'S.

What color isn't a mirror?

See-through.
