Did not! In the ROTS novelization, he couldn't wait to get rid of Grievous, he hated all non-humans! I realise there wouldn't be a Grievous without him, and that makes him cool, but he still didn't like him. That is why I started to slowly kill him off.

Depends on your definition of "respect". He acknowledged Grievous's tactical ability, his skills in combat, and his usefulness to the CIS. But he disliked him, didn't approve of his combat methods, and considered him an abomination - and couldn't wait to pin the blame for the atrocities he committed on Grievous.

Pfffft. Both General Greivous and Count Dooku were two key figures in crippling the Republic you hold so dear. From this I can think of three reasons you might hate them - fear of what they can do, hatred of what they have done or jealousy of how they were able to bring your arrogant Republic to their knees.

While that may be true, Anakin disposed of the Count pretty easily and GG was nothing but an escape artist 🙂
