I've always liked the idea of Link and Malon, so much so that I figured out a list of reasons why they're the only pair that works in OoT...
And believe me, it's unbelievable how many other kinds there are whose supporters attack me... Link/Zelda, Link/Saria (PEDO), Link/Ruto, Link/Nabooru (Scary...), Link/Darunia...
Ast: You lift up their skirts, dude, duh.
Also, most of the girl have bewbs and most of the guys don't.

I've never really cared all that much about couples in video games, because...I just couldn't care less 😛

StarFox: Fox and any female that is NOT Krystal.
wrath huh? my sister Laura, shes got wrath
well, it just girls seems to get into the couples thing more so than guys, so i was expecting a comment like that from a guy first.
Be careful not to stereotype 😛
I find most romantic plots in games to be nothing but tired cliches that ultimately are boring and do little to really enhance the plot. That, and I've simply always found romantic movies, novels, etc., to be incredibly boring and pointless, so I don't care for it in games either.
Only romance plot in a game I liked was Lenne and Shuyin in FFX-2 -- it was actually integral to the plot of the game, wasn't something that was overdone or seemed cheap, and while it was very much a cliche of the star-crossed lovers, it didn't really seem that much like it. Plus it actually focused on characters who weren't the main characters of the game, and rather were background characters (even though the plot was ultimately about them).
