The internet at IU is too fast....I can reply so quickly, but then I get bored waiting for new posts....it's only a matter of time before I go mad crazy

I feel the same way on my own personal laptop that I myself own that belongs to no one else but me, no university or nothing but mine all the time just waiting and waisting away in my room b/c it's where my laptop is that goes so fast which makes the wait so slow all of the time b/c I'm always on my laptop and not some university computer b/c my laptop is capable enough and needs no aid b/c it's so fast which leaves me on here waiting and waiting into oblivion which can be tiresome...................I'm used to it thought since I'm always on this laptop that belongs to me and I've gotten use to it and one would have to if they actually owned the fast piece of machinery that they were on all the time in their room alone every day, day after day...........................................

We have DSL but we have a Gateway computer wich is a piece of crap so sometimes it makes our connection slow or it will completely shut the internet off right in the middle of us doing something. I'm not sure why it does that.
