Willofthewisp..I dont think they would ever even write a movie together if they handt REALLY agreed on what was going to happen.

I think they are just keeping people guessing...when the end comes out in AWE...all the rest of it would have been obvious...the hints will probably become clear..and it will be obious what the compass was really poining to etc etc.

Its their fave thing to give an unexpected ending..yet they dont like to make the clues obvious but when you see the ending you will look back and think of it being no other way but that ending...

so IMO one is saying the true thing and the other is saying the false thing. They didnt do this with CotBP in the commentary

I think that it is very likely that they don't agree on certain matters. It's all right, because in the end, these little details don't matter. I worked on a story with a friend (we're still trying to finish it), and sometimes it seems as if we have written different ideas on the direction the story, but somehow, we manage to make it work in the end.

As for the quotes, I still see most of them as a defence more or less of W/E, with only vague hints at ATTRACTION, but not necessarily of love, on Elizabeth's part toward Jack.

hmmm thats interesting, as i took them all quite differently. nearly everything they posted referenced Jack and Elizabeth and the complexity of their relationship, while they spent very little time on any W/L relationship.

Plus, if that bit of the script was from their version, i think that clears up how they feel about the J/L kiss...

I'm not convinced that they wrote in a J/E kiss just for the hell of it. We all wanted to see it, so I bet they wanted to see it too.

Not that I think there's no validity to the relationship. It makes a ton of sense to me. But I don't think they agree on the motivation behind the kiss. They just agreed they really wanted to film it.

trust me..I really don't think a script would even get past unless they agree on everything put into it..

They know the exactly what was what..they know the true answer we don't..its only movie 2..they are trying to not give certain elements away..remember they know what happens next and we dont...it has to come to a close and everything we see in DMC should make sense to the twist end of AWE.

Believe me people don't write a script and film it unless they are 100% clear on themes and what they are trying to put across with the movie and it all has to relate to the ending. If they didn't agree on what each thing meant...then it would appear fragmented and DMC doesn't feel like that. They know there is a thematic argument and the closure of DMC comes from that. Its answered..they said that its answered. The answer is not what we see on the pearl. The answer is after that.

Also. The end of AWE is supposed to be a cliffhanger for the 4th..how on earth can this be Will's cliffhanger? Its going to be 100% Jack's cliffhanger this whole series is about Jack Sparrow not Will Turner I dont understand why they are trying to make this all about will..IMO its to slightly distract us from something when it comes to Jack..Will is not what makes this movie no way no how, it can be his story...it can be his heroic moment..but I'll be so angry if he even gets the twist ending....its gotta end on Jack or they will not draw in crowds when it comes to pirates 4..

"wow what a twist it ended on Will the support actor..big woop..this totally makes me want to watch P4.."

..Orlando..even though Disney deny it, probably wont be coming back for a 4th.
