Hulk DID use his strength. It wasn't good enough.

And Black Bolt was holding his own vs. Thor until his antenna was broken.

Black Bolt is in all of these guys' leagues. But he loses this match because of speed.

to be honest, black bolt beating thor (in any way shape or form) is pure PIS.

And Black Bolt IS capable of doing well against Thor.

Not to mention, out of the two of them, Black Bolt is the one who usually utilizes far less of his range of powers then Thor.

The man can make antimatter with ease out of scenery, but chooses to slug it out with Hulk...

What? First of all, making antimatter out of scenery? that sounds like a bunch of hyperbole with no scientific basis, but then again you can say the same about magic. Anyways, when exactly did BB make antimatter out of thin air? I knew he could manipulate matter to a certain degree - but feats like that make me question the writer, if they did happen. I don't think it's anything outside the capability of Thor regardless.

Feats like these aren't uncommon for BB. He's a master matter manipulator.

When Thor and BB fought neither of the two used any of their abilities. It was merely a glorified h2h fight.

I'm happy for him. My point was that Black Bolt can do that as well, among other quite impressive things with ease, but he chooses to slug it out with Hulk.

Seems to prove that canceling the sound, cancels the attack.

Superman shows us, with his ability to speak in any frequency. He can also cancel any frequency by using his vocal chords to emit sound-cancelling white noise.

Thus, shows that Superman can either take the attack directly, without missing a beat, as shown in the other post I'm quoting[since he took a similar attack that was apperently 10 times stronger than Black Bolts max], or cancelling it completely.

You do know that "a nuclear bomb" does not specify any particular yield. You could theoretically keep scaling up a nuke to make it as powerful as you wanted it to be.

In either case, it's not far-fetched to think he can simply cancel the attack since it's proven he can yell in noise-cancelling white sound, and a sound proof room cancelled Blackbolts destructive voice as a child, as seen in the bio. As shown above.

Superman is faster, stronger, and pretty much better in every category, as guys pointed out earlier in the thread.
